Trip in nature

April 22 is International Earth Day, a good time to say Happy Birthday to the Earth! We know environmental issues, we are outraged to see that simple rules are not followed, that our actions affect the lives of future generations. Together with the students from Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania we organized a trip to observe nature, but also the environmental problems in the Curtea de Arges area. We took photos, we talked, we painted. We share with you the work of the students in the project.  Anca Popescu/Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania

Competition about Wild Life

Starting from the materials made by the teams regarding the wild life, on Saturday, April 24, a competition was organized for the students to fix and verify the knowledge regarding the endangered animals and their characteristics.  From our team were participants who obtained very good places, following the competition. Raluca qualified in the top 10 and received a certificate of recognition. Congratulations to all participants and thank the organizers for their work and effort to make this competition a success!  Anca Popescu/Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania

About land pollution

The soil is an important component of the environment, and its destruction has serious consequences, affecting human life. 1 cm of soil is formed in hundreds of years, but its destruction can take several seconds. The students studied about soil pollution and in the international team they built a thematic text together with the team of professor Kerem Ateşavcı, from Turkey. Thank you for your collaboration and congratulations to all participants in the activity!  Anca Popescu/Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania

Happy Earth Day!

The children showed their sensitivity through photos and drawings about nature, about the Earth, our home!  Anca Popescu/Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania

Studying the Mediterranean Seal

In order to prepare the material about the Mediterranean seal, the children studied images and information. We were very sad when we found out how few specimens are left and how this species, that was not harming anyone, was decimated.  Anca Popescu/Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania

Save Our Sales (S.O.S)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DE17ihEok4k   Have you heard of the Black Sea seal? Do you know that the last specimens were seen many years ago? Do you know that humans are the ones who harm nature and, by destroying habitats or killing animals, cause entire species to disappear? We must think about our actions and act responsibly! Eliza prepared a material about the Black Sea seal or the monk seal. We invite you to watch it!  Anca Popescu/Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania

April - Wild life and the crosswords

In April, the children studied wildlife in order to build definitions. These were noted in the document on Twinspace and then used with other students' materials from the international team to make crossword puzzles. Part of the Romanian team met at school and we worked on the crossword puzzles, the other children worked at home. It was an interesting activity and we learned new things! Congratulations to all participants and organizers!  Anca Popescu/Basarab I School/Curtea de Arges/Romania

Wild Life
