Webinar, 27.02.2021

 I had a meeting with the children about the activities in March. We introduced them to the teams, we explained the phenomenon of global warming, we determined which children will join each team, taking into account their preferences. It's up to us to get to work! We also discussed the possibility of correspondence and the various topics of discussion: music, movies, nature, animals, sports, favorite games. Some of them have completed messages on the forum.

We have to take care of the water - experiment on water behavior

Water is a vital element. Without water, the planet will die. Millions of climate migrants leave their homelands due to lack of water, droughts, soil erosion. Melting mountain glaciers affects freshwater resources. To this is added the pollution which also affects the quality of the water and affects the aquatic life. The plastic and oil thrown in the water are very harmful, !Educate your behavior, change your mentality. Future generations will suffer if you are selfish.

  İbrahim SARIKAYA - Seyitaliler Atatürk Secondary School Rabia's experiment is about air pollution. One vase of flower is enough to measure. We put aside a stove or central heating system for one night. The result is that, the leaves of the flower are under coaldust and it is toxic. So we have to be careful for our air and while using coal. We should not pollute the air.

   İbrahim SARIKAYA - Seyitaliler Atatürk Secondary School Melike's experiment is about land pollution. Some soil and a magnifier is enough to measure. When we analyse the soil we can see some harmful materials such as plastic and metal. So we have to be careful for our land. We should not pollute the lands.

If we plant in the soil, the soil filters and cleans the water. But if the soil is arid, the water is dirty. So we have to be plant for our water and us.

One bowl for clean water, one bowl for dirty water with detergents. We put the fruits into the bowls and ait for one day. The result is that, fruit in the water with detergents is now decayed. But fruit in the clean water is still fresh. So we have to be careful when using detergents for our water and. We should not pollute the water.

Air pollution posters

 Air is an important component of the environment, which we must take care of, being vital. Students made posters about air pollution, highlighting problems of this natural component. Subsequently, within the international team, the students' work was highlighted by making international posters. Thank you to all partners!

Internet Safety Dictionary

In the international team, in the form of a game and a challenge, we selected letters for each teacher participant. In the team, safety rules were written, displayed and then a useful dictionary was made that can be used as teaching material. I used Story Jumper and the product is a quality material.

The students made useful objects from materials that would have reached the trash. Congratulations, children! You are wonderful!
